Densitron to Release New ProDeck and 80 Key 2RU Panel at IBC 2024
Densitron, the global leader in display, touch-based interfaces and specialized ODM+ outsourced product design and development for manufacturers, has announced their brand new products that will be premiering at IBC 2024 (Booth 9C01, 15-18 September, Amsterdam RAI).
As well as presenting established, ready to use suite of control panels and IDS control system, the company will introduce an inventive new variant of their ProDeck series: the ProDeck 24. The ProDeck 24 combines the best of both worlds with 24 high resolution keys below a full touch screen that features touch, swipe, pinch and scroll functions. The first two ProDeck variants – the ProDeck and the ProDeck Touch - were first introduced at NAB earlier this year, and demonstrated the ability to manage any workflow parameter including cameras, lighting, audio setting, signage and video display, all through a customizable user interface.
Pete Semerak, SVP product at Densitron, said: “We’re very excited to announce the ProDeck 24 as our latest addition to the family of products at IBC 2024. The combination of touch panel and 24 keys will provide maximum flexibility with this first-in-class product to the market and our customers.
Densitron will also be shining a spotlight on its latest exciting control surface – the 2RU 80 Button. The 80 keys displayed on this panel are sizable enough to successfully display icons, text, or video thumbnails, all with a 100% reliable key closure. Each of the 80 keys will have no visual distortion or parallax when viewed off axis.

Densitron’s display and control solutions are geared to support broadcast manufacturers and broadcast systems integrators (SIs) with modular solutions. These solutions can also be white labelled for broadcast manufacturers for cost effective product development, or made available to SIs and end-users to enhance their studio workflow.
On the stand at IBC, Densitron’s impressive tactile and haptics innovations will also be on display, including jog dial technology, rotary knobs, physical buttons and faders. This technology delivers a range of building block HMIs that can be incorporated into vendor’s own designs, as they continue to break new ground in broadcast media and beyond.
As broadcast workflows continue to set us new challenges, control system software IDS continues to solve them. It’s been an exciting year for IDS, who in the last year have deployed solutions for Microsoft, Amazon and Lenovo to name just a few. IDS will be available to test drive on each of the ProDeck models, whilst the powerful display processor IDS Remora 7 will also be available on stand.
